Albuquerque's New Mexico Cancer Center was designed to showcase fine art, with over 150 pieces that rotate quarterly, allowing patients to receive their medical care in a facility which was designed for accessibility, comfort, beauty and light. A third of the proceeds of gallery sales are used for financial assistance for cancer patients who are struggling to afford life's necessities due to their diagnosis and symptoms, providing help with food, gas, utilities, rent or childcare.
