iOS Developers Group

During this workshop we will continue building out our solar system using ARKit. We’re going to put a solar system right in the middle of our rooms and animate it! We will see how entities and components express the powerful elements of RealityKit while providing flexibility for customization. Using Xcode we’ll experiment with manipulating virtual objects in our scenes, create and modify orbits around the “Sun”, and create satellites for our planets. If you plan to work along you will need a version of Xcode that supports ARKit, and a hardware device, as the simulator will not cut it.

Xcode: 11.5 or greater
