Welcome...
This page is here as a resource for students and parents who are involved with the AP Physics course taught by Kevin Gant.

School Starts Aug. 14.
Plan on bringing the following materials to class.   Also, consider what day of the week we might meet regularly for luch.

All students:  Extra Credit Opportunity!
On the first friday of each month, there is a knock-out of a presentation at the Lodestar Planetarium, about Fractals, and the math involved in them.  Check it out.  The same web site has a link to download free software that allows you to explore fractals by zooming in and out on them.   Awesome.

Are you an alumnus that took a class from me?  I would love to hear from you, to find out what and how you are doing.
IN THE NAME OF PHYSICS...

slippin' and slidin'

... a former AP Physics student temporarily sacrifices warmth, dryness, and bipedalism in the interest of garnering information about the negative acceleration as a result of friction with vinyl and water.

Shall we continue his research?  We'll need a slip 'n slide style device.  Contact me forthwith if you possess such an item.

Let us plan a time to perpetuate such important study.
